Alright, alright, dudes. I know I haven't posted in a while. Work, travel, beers...you know how it goes :). So let's back up a bit and cover off on a few things, especially as I have the day off today for Swiss National Day. Whoo-hoo!
1. I got my scooter license. Absurd that you need one, but now I have it. And for those of you, and you know who you are, who are convinced I'm some America-bashing eurotrash asshole, I just want to point out the helmet I have recently procured...I shit you not. I rock it out, man. People are like, 'dude, is that a joke', and my actual response is usually "America...fuck yeah".

2. Had a great two day hike a few weeks ago over the Col D'Anderets. Not too easy, not too hard, and with a big-ass fondue at the end of Day 1. Sweet.

3. And momma russell, unlike you bastards, actually visited us for a week over here. Good times here, and then ducked down to barcelona for two days where, for the first time, Andrea and I realized that there is a whole side of the city that exists before 2pm. Including, like, you know...cultural stuff. Or something. Picasso museum was totally overrated. My fault for not doing my research, because it was all early stuff (interesting) and late stuff (interesting) but not the, you know, AWESOME CRAZY SHIT between 1917-1960. I like the Miro foundation a bit better. That is, if you're into Miro...DId the usual Gaudi sites as well, and found some time for a nice, long 3 hour lunch by the water. Barcelona. Dig it.

Anyway, not much else to report from here. We'll be catching up with Lis and Jeff in Paris in September, which is gonna be awesome, and A and I are heading for Sardignia in a few weeks for a much-needed week of doing f-all on the beach. Sweet. Keep it real. YR out...
